about me

My approach to therapy is grounded in relationship. I believe healing begins when we feel truly seen, and I strive to create a space where every part of you is welcome—especially the ones that may have gone quiet or felt left behind along the way.

My work is informed by psychodynamic, somatic, and attachment-based theories, as well as Internal Family Systems (IFS) and EMDR. I bring a deep respect for the mind-body connection and often work with people navigating a complex relationship with food and their bodies, traumatic experiences, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and the painful beliefs that can leave us feeling alone or not enough.

I work intuitively and creatively, always listening for what’s spoken—and also for what’s said in silence, through emotion, posture, or energy. I’ve found that when we gently shift from the “thinking mind” into the body’s felt sense, meaningful insight and change can begin to take shape.

Some of the tools I draw on in our work include my certifications in EMDR, Embodied Eating Disorder Recovery, and Emotional Freedom Techniques (Tapping). My approach to Eating Disorder treatment is grounded in a Health at Every Size® and Intuitive Eating philosophy, integrated with somatic and embodied practices to support lasting, compassionate connection to the self.

I am committed to offering affirming, inclusive care to people of all identities, bodies, and lived experiences.

In addition to my clinical work, I bring a decade of experience in small business development and leadership. Before opening my private practice, I served as Managing Director at Erika Malm Collective, where I had the privilege of mentoring fellows and supporting the growth of a vibrant community of clinicians and clients. Today, I continue to offer consultation to licensed therapists and love supporting newer clinicians as they find their unique way in the therapeutic space.

I hold a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from New York University, with advanced training in Eating Disorders through the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy’s Center for the Study of Anorexia and Bulimia and The Embodied Recovery Institute. I’ve also completed training in CBT, DBT, Tapping and am certified to offer EMDR.

I am licensed to practice psychotherapy as an LMHC-D in the state of New York under license #008481.
